Former Big Brother Naija housemate and disc jockey Tolanibaj has opened up about her decision to preserve her fertility, revealing that she is learning about egg freezing as part of her long-term plans.
The reality TV star, who is 32 years old, made the revelation in a recent vlog where she spoke candidly about wanting to secure more options for herself in the future.
According to her, the decision is driven by a desire to avoid future regrets rather than any immediate plans to have children.
Why Tolanibaj Is Considering Egg Freezing
Explaining her reasons, Tolanibaj said she believes it is better to have choices available later in life than to wish she had taken action sooner.
She disclosed that she had already taken the first step by scheduling an appointment with her gynaecologist to better understand the medical process involved.
“I want to freeze my eggs because I would rather have options than regrets in the future. I realised that I needed more information about the process so I booked an appointment with my gynecologist at one wellness centre.”
The media personality noted that educating herself on fertility preservation has become an important part of her plans, adding that seeking professional medical advice was necessary before making any final decisions.
She Says the Procedure Will Happen Later
Although she has begun consultations and is gathering information, Tolanibaj clarified that she is not undergoing the procedure immediately.
According to her, she is considering freezing her eggs either next year or within the next two years after completing the necessary preparations.
“I am not freezing my eggs now but I will maybe next year or in two years.”
Her comments have sparked conversations online about fertility preservation and the growing number of women choosing to explore egg freezing as a way of keeping their reproductive options open while focusing on other personal or career goals.
