Blessing CEO Apologises to Critics Amid Son’s Death and Legal Challenges
Nigerian relationship influencer Nkiru Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has issued a public apology to people she may have hurt through her past comments and actions.
The social media personality shared an emotional message following her recent release on bail, acknowledging that some of her previous remarks may have caused pain to others.
In the post, Blessing CEO admitted that she had spoken carelessly about experiences and struggles she had not personally endured. She also appealed to those she had offended to forgive her, saying she now understands the impact of words and actions differently.
Blessing CEO Opens Up About Emotional Struggles
The influencer described her current emotional state as overwhelming, saying she felt confused, numb and surrounded by darkness.
She acknowledged her past mistakes and said she was facing the consequences of her actions. She also asked her followers and supporters to pray for her, explaining that she felt exhausted and emotionally broken.
Blessing CEO further appealed to people who still support her to remain patient, while apologising to those who have withdrawn their support because of her previous conduct.
She described her situation as a return home, using the biblical story of the prodigal son to express her desire to start afresh after learning difficult lessons.
Influencer Mourns Nine-Year-Old Son
The apology also contained a deeply personal message to her late son, Bryan, whom she affectionately called “Dum Dum”.
The influencer expressed how much she missed him and said his death had left the family devastated. She mentioned his brother, grandmother, father and close friend among those mourning his loss.

According to the report, Bryan died following an asthma attack while his mother was in detention. The experience was described as a devastating shock for the influencer.
In her message, she promised to correct her past mistakes and live in a way that would make her late son proud.

Despite her release on bail, Blessing CEO is reportedly still facing legal proceedings over separate fraud allegations.
Her latest public statement comes amid these personal and legal challenges, as she appeals for forgiveness and an opportunity to rebuild her relationship with the public.
