The following day, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly brought another case against her before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos. The allegations involved an alleged ₦13 million cancer-related fraud and the falsification of cancer test results.
In July, she was also granted ₦20 million bail in a separate case involving an alleged ₦69.15 million tenancy fraud.
Blessing CEO’s Family Tragedy
Her time in custody also coincided with a personal tragedy. Blessing CEO reportedly lost her second son to an asthma attack while she was in prison.
The loss attracted public attention and prompted discussions about the personal challenges she faced during her detention.
Her reported release has since drawn reactions from social media users and followers who have been monitoring developments in her legal cases.
However, the reported release does not, on its own, establish the outcome of the allegations against her. Further details about her current bail status and the next steps in the cases have yet to be confirmed.
