West Ham Sack Nuno Espírito Santo After Poor Start to Championship Season
West Ham United have sacked head coach Nuno Espírito Santo following a disappointing start to their 2026/27 Championship campaign.
The 52-year-old manager, who took charge of the London club in September 2025, leaves after failing to prevent their relegation from the Premier League last season. His departure comes as the club struggles to meet expectations in the second tier.
West Ham were widely regarded as favourites for automatic promotion but currently sit eighth in the Championship table, six points behind leaders Middlesbrough.
