Celebrity fashion designer Veekee James has shared a deeply personal account of her upbringing, revealing how her mother’s unwavering commitment after the death of her father played a major role in shaping the woman she is today.
Speaking during a recent interview, the entrepreneur recalled that her mother chose not to remarry after losing her husband, dedicating her life entirely to raising her children.

“I’ve never seen my mom date any man before. Since I lost my dad, my mom has never slept out of the house if it’s not night vigil.
When my dad passed, my pastor asked if she wanted to remarry, and she said no. She wanted to take care of us, her kids.”
