Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon has finally reacted to the conversations that followed Davido’s absence from his wedding ceremony in Warri, Delta State.
The entertainment promoter, who recently tied the knot with his wife, Princess Ebiere, addressed the growing speculation after social media users questioned why the Afrobeats star did not attend the event or publicly celebrate the occasion online.
The wedding attracted several notable guests from the entertainment industry and quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the week.
However, attention soon shifted from the ceremony itself to Davido’s noticeable absence, with fans and commentators sharing different opinions across social media platforms.

The debate gained more attention after media personality Ossai Ovie Success and former Big Brother Naija housemate DeeOne publicly criticised Davido over his decision not to attend the wedding.

Breaking his silence, music executive Soso Soberekon took to social media to appreciate everyone who attended the ceremony and celebrated the beginning of his new chapter with Princess Ebiere.
Sharing his thoughts, he expressed satisfaction with how the wedding turned out and thanked friends, family and well-wishers for making the day memorable.
“My heart is overflowing with gratitude,” he wrote.
He described the celebration as everything he and his wife had hoped for, adding that it was filled with love, happiness and unforgettable memories.
Addressing the controversy directly, Soso urged people to disregard the negative conversations surrounding the event.
