Asake gave fans a memorable night in the United Kingdom as he took the stage for an exclusive Spotify London concert, where he performed songs from his latest album, M$NEY, and surprised attendees with the debut of four unreleased tracks.
The one-night-only event took place on June 21 at the historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.
Organized in partnership with Spotify, the intimate gathering brought together friends, family members, industry stakeholders, and some of the singer’s most dedicated listeners on the streaming platform.
The performance marked Asake’s first live showcase of M$NEY since the album was released in May 2026. Backed by a live orchestra, the award-winning artist delivered a captivating set that blended the album’s biggest songs with fresh material yet to be officially released.
The surprise previews quickly became one of the evening’s major highlights, generating excitement among fans eager to hear what the singer has planned next.
The entire concert was professionally recorded, with Spotify expected to release the full performance film on its platform in the coming days, giving a wider audience the opportunity to experience the special event.
Released on May 1 through GIRAN REPUBLIC and EMPIRE, M$NEY has enjoyed impressive commercial success since its debut.
The project topped streaming charts in more than 19 countries, including Nigeria, and reached No. 8 in the United States, further cementing Asake’s position as one of Africa’s most influential music exports.
The 13-track album showcases the singer’s willingness to experiment with different sounds while remaining rooted in Afrobeats.
From its opening live choral arrangement to orchestral elements, jazz-inspired strings, dance rhythms, and amapiano influences, the album reflects a broader creative direction from the artist.
