Ayra Starr’s ‘Starrgirl’ Debuts at No. 3 on Spotify UK Albums Chart
Nigerian Afrobeats star Ayra Starr has recorded another major career milestone after her latest album, ‘Starrgirl’, debuted at No. 3 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut UK chart.
The album arrived on August 14 and quickly gained attention on the UK streaming platform.
According to music platform HypeTribe, ‘Starrgirl’ secured the third position on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut UK chart following its release.
The achievement further strengthens Ayra Starr’s growing presence on international music charts.
‘Starrgirl’ is a 16-track project that features several prominent Nigerian and international artistes.
The album includes collaborations with Nigerian stars Wizkid and Rema. It also features international acts such as ZAYN, Leon Thomas, kwn, Theodora and Danny Ocean.

The new project marks Ayra Starr’s third studio album.
She released her debut album, ‘19 & Dangerous’, in 2021. The project helped establish her as one of the leading young voices in Nigeria’s new generation of Afrobeats artistes.
In 2024, she followed up with her second studio album, ‘The Year I Turned 21’.
With ‘Starrgirl’, Ayra Starr continues to expand her international reach while building on the success of her previous projects.
The Spotify UK debut adds to her growing list of achievements as her latest album gains attention across global streaming platforms.
