Heineken is set to celebrate a decade of partnership with Lagos Fashion Week as the 2026 edition runs from October 29 to 31. This year, the brand will continue its City of Cities: Where Taste Rules campaign and introduce Heineken Studio to Nigeria for the first time.
The partnership has grown beyond sponsorship to support fashion, creativity and cultural experiences. Through its activities, Heineken aims to celebrate the people, styles and communities that make Lagos unique.
Heineken Celebrates Lagos Culture at Fashion Week 2026
First introduced in Lagos in 2025, City of Cities: Where Taste Rules highlights the city’s cultural diversity. Lagos brings together different communities, styles and ideas, creating a vibrant mix of fashion, music, food, art and social experiences.
Heineken says this diversity reflects the different ways people express and share their tastes. At this year’s event, the brand will bring the campaign to life through the Heineken Lounge, Heineken Runway Showcase, Heineken Studio and the After Party.
The activities will offer guests opportunities to connect through fashion, creativity and shared experiences throughout the event.
Heineken Marks 10 Years of Partnership With Lagos Fashion Week
Over the past decade, Heineken has introduced several initiatives through its partnership with Lagos Fashion Week. Each project has explored the relationship between fashion, craftsmanship and personal style.
In 2022, the brand supported the sustainable fashion initiative Woven Threads. It followed this with the Dyelab collaboration in 2023 and the H45 Collection in 2024. In 2025, Heineken introduced the City of Cities: Where Taste Rules campaign.
The 2026 edition builds on these efforts by creating more opportunities to connect with the people and ideas shaping Nigerian fashion and culture.
This year’s Lagos Fashion Week theme, CRAFTED, focuses on artistry, intentional design, craftsmanship and more considered approaches to sustainability. Heineken’s activities are designed to complement these themes while extending the experience beyond the runway.
Heineken Studio Makes Nigerian Debut
One of the major highlights of Heineken Lagos Fashion Week 2026 is the Nigerian debut of Heineken Studio, which the brand describes as its “Playground of Innovation.”
The concept explores new ways to serve and experience lager through experimentation, brewing expertise and discovery. Guests will also have the opportunity to explore experiences such as Foam Infusions, which introduce unexpected flavour combinations.

Through Heineken Studio, the brand aims to bring a fresh approach to taste and innovation while connecting these ideas with fashion and culture.
Nigerian Breweries Explains Heineken’s Fashion Week Plans
Sandra Amachree, Head of Marketing and Communications at Nigerian Breweries Plc, said the partnership had remained an important platform for connecting Heineken with fashion, creativity and culture.
She explained that the 2026 edition would build on the partnership’s history while introducing new experiences through Heineken Studio.
According to Amachree, the initiative will invite guests to explore new expressions of taste and innovation while connecting through a shared appreciation for fashion and culture.
She also expressed optimism about another edition of the partnership and the opportunity to celebrate the creativity shaping Lagos.
As Heineken returns to Lagos Fashion Week from October 29 to 31, the brand plans to combine fashion, taste and social experiences under its City of Cities: Where Taste Rules campaign. The introduction of Heineken Studio adds a new element to the partnership’s tenth-anniversary celebration.
