Bakare reacted on Instagram on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, a day after Badmus apologised for her response when Bakare’s name came up during an interview.
Badmus had faced criticism on social media over her reaction during an appearance on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast, hosted by Isbae U. She later acknowledged that her response could have appeared dismissive and expressed a desire to make peace with Bakare.
However, Bakare has indicated that she is not satisfied with the apology.
