The statement invited friends, fans and well-wishers to join them in remembering the late gospel minister, whose real name was Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji.
“We invite you to join us for a Night of Tributes and Service of Songs in honour of our beloved brother, friend, and gospel minister, Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, fondly known as Toluwanisings,” the family said.
Toluwanisings Died After Praise Concert in Ibadan
Toluwanisings died on October 14, 2026, a few hours after ministering at a praise concert organised by fellow gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba in Ibadan.
News of his death sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many fans and entertainers expressing sadness over the loss.
According to the late singer’s personal assistant, Toluwanisings reportedly slumped at his residence before being taken for medical attention.

His aide alleged that eight hospitals in Ibadan turned him away because they lacked the equipment needed to handle the emergency. The claim has fuelled public concerns about access to emergency healthcare in Nigeria.
Death Sparks Concerns Over Emergency Healthcare
Following the singer’s death, some social media users and public figures criticised the state of Nigeria’s healthcare system, particularly the availability of emergency medical services.
However, the reported circumstances surrounding his death remain based on accounts attributed to his aide. The allegations about hospitals refusing treatment should be distinguished from independently verified findings.
As preparations for the service of songs continue, the October 27 gathering will provide an opportunity for family members, friends and supporters to pay their final tributes to the gospel singer.
