PSG, Aston Villa to Earn Millions After 2026 UEFA Super Cup Final
Paris Saint-Germain will receive £4.3 million (€5 million) from UEFA after defeating Aston Villa 2-1 to win the 2026 UEFA Super Cup.
The Champions League holders overcame the Europa League winners at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg, Austria, on Wednesday to retain the prestigious trophy.
PSG have now become only the third club in the history of the UEFA Super Cup to win the competition in consecutive years, joining Real Madrid and AC Milan.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Doué scored for Luis Enrique’s side, while Brian Madjo’s goal for Aston Villa was not enough to prevent the Premier League club from losing the final.
How much will PSG earn from the UEFA Super Cup?
The 2026 UEFA Super Cup winners will receive £4.3 million (€5 million) in total prize money.
The payment consists of a £3.4 million (€4 million) participation fee, which is awarded to both finalists, plus an additional £900,000 (€1 million) winner’s bonus.
As a result, PSG will collect the full £4.3 million after lifting the trophy.

Despite losing the final, Aston Villa will receive £3.4 million (€4 million) from UEFA.
The amount represents the participation payment given to each club that features in the UEFA Super Cup.
Unlike PSG, Aston Villa will not receive the additional £900,000 winner’s bonus.
