Social media influencer Klaudia Zakrzewska has died after a crash in Soho left several pedestrians injured in central London. The incident took place in the early hours of 19 April. A vehicle drove into people outside a nightclub on Argyll Street.

Zakrzewska, who lived in Essex, had built a loyal online following. Emergency teams rushed her to the hospital after the crash. However, she died six days later.

She was 32 years old. She had more than 270,000 followers on Instagram. There, she shared lifestyle and fashion content. As news of her death spread, many people reacted with shock.

Police have taken action in the case. Officers earlier charged Gabrielle Carrington, 29, from Manchester, with attempted murder. These include grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm, dangerous driving, and drink driving. Authorities say they will continue to review the evidence.

Investigation Continues After Incident

Alison Foxwell also said investigators continue to think about the other victims. At the same time, the team continues its work on the case. Along with Zakrzewska, a 58 year old man suffered serious injuries. Doctors have described his condition as life changing. Meanwhile, another woman had a minor wrist injury. She received treatment and later left the hospital.

Carrington appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 21 April. The court remanded her in custody. She will appear next at the Old Bailey on 19 May. Until then, she remains in detention.

Zakrzewska’s family has spoken after her death. They shared a message through a fundraising page. The page was set up in her mother’s name. In the message, they described her as kind and caring.
