Elon Musk Names Johann Sebastian Bach His Greatest Musician of All Time

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk has named German composer Johann Sebastian Bach as his favourite musician of all time, describing him as the “Shakespeare of music.”

Musk, who leads companies including Tesla and SpaceX, shared his opinion in a post on X. He praised Bach’s musical legacy and placed the classical composer at the top of his personal list.

“Johann Sebastian Bach is the Shakespeare of music. Best there ever was,” Musk wrote.

Who Was Johann Sebastian Bach?

Johann Sebastian Bach was an influential German composer and musician who lived from 1685 to 1750. He was also a skilled keyboardist, violinist, organist and music director.

Bach became widely known for his contributions to classical music, particularly his work in orchestral, instrumental, keyboard and choral compositions. His music continues to influence performers and composers centuries after his death.
