The event, scheduled for June 10, will feature Davido alongside Diplo’s Major Lazer at the Crypto.com Arena, marking a major pre-tournament celebration linking fans across North America through a synchronised global broadcast.
Davido Joins Global Stage for FIFA World Cup Countdown Show
FIFA confirmed that Davido and Major Lazer are the first announced performers for the United States Countdown Concert taking place at Crypto.com Arena.
Doors are expected to open at 5pm PT, with the live broadcast beginning at 6pm PT. Tickets go on sale June 3 at 10am PST, according to organisers.

The concert is part of a first-of-its-kind coordinated entertainment experience across all three host nations of the FIFA World Cup 2026, United States, Canada, and Mexico.
While Davido and Major Lazer perform in Los Angeles, audiences in Toronto and Mexico City will also experience live, linked performances featuring a range of international artists.
Global Music Lineup Builds Excitement Ahead of Tournament Kickoff
FIFA says the tri-city concert series is designed to merge football, music, and cultural celebration ahead of the tournament’s opening match on June 12.
The project is being developed in partnership with the Grammys, aiming to deliver a unified global broadcast experience.
Other artists confirmed across the wider lineup include Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi, Wyclef Jean, Vegedream, and Los Angeles Azules, among others performing across Canada and Mexico City.
FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Tournament Officer Manolo Zubiria described the initiative as a celebration of “passion, unity and cultural connections across three countries and around the world.”

The tournament itself will run from June 11 to July 19 across multiple host cities in North America, with entertainment events expected to continue alongside the competition.
