IShowSpeed at the World Cup final encounter created another memorable moment for the popular American content creator after he met Seyi Tinubu, the son of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, and his children during Sunday’s FIFA Club World Cup final.
A video from IShowSpeed’s livestream showed the YouTube star, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., interacting with Seyi Tinubu and his family inside the VIP section of the stadium.
The meeting happened while Speed was livestreaming his experience from the final.
According to the video, a man accompanying Seyi Tinubu approached the streamer to let him know that the President’s son was seated nearby.
Speed then walked over to greet the family, posed for photographs with the children, and exchanged pleasantries with Seyi Tinubu.
After shaking hands with the streamer, Seyi Tinubu said, “It is nice meeting you.”
A Humorous Exchange During the Match
The conversation took a playful turn when IShowSpeed jokingly addressed the children.
“Tell your dad to get me a Nigerian passport!” he said, drawing laughs before continuing with his livestream.
The remark reflected the energetic and humorous style that has helped the 21-year-old build one of the world’s largest online audiences.

The latest IShowSpeed at World Cup final moment comes only months after the streamer visited Nigeria as part of his 28-day Speed Does Africa tour.
During his stay in Lagos, Speed explored several popular locations, including Lagos Island, Freedom Park, and the Nike Art Gallery.
He also met Nigerian music stars Zlatan Ibile and Davido while celebrating his 21st birthday in the country.
His Nigerian visit attracted large crowds wherever he appeared and became one of the most talked-about stops on his African tour.
