Popular Nollywood actor Blossom Chukwujekwu and his wife, Winifred Akhuemokhan Ehinome, are celebrating the arrival of their first child together.
The couple recently welcomed a baby girl, marking a significant milestone in their marriage. News of the birth was shared by their church, Christ Embassy Lagos Virtual Zone (CELVZ) Phenom Church, through a congratulatory post on Instagram.
According to the church, the newborn has been named Angela-Ritsa Evanna Chukwujekwu.
Church Announces Birth of Baby Girl
In its announcement, the church celebrated the couple while offering prayers for their growing family.
The post read:
“Congratulations on the birth of your daughter, Angela-Ritsa Evanna Chukwujekwu. Brother Blossom Chukwujekwu and Pastor Ehinome Chukwujekwu.”
It continued:
“We rejoice with you on this beautiful gift from the Lord. May your family be blessed with divine love, joy, and grace as you raise your precious daughter in God’s light. Welcome, Little Princess!”
The announcement quickly attracted congratulatory messages from fans, colleagues, and members of the Christian community, many of whom wished the couple a happy and fulfilling journey into parenthood.
The birth of their daughter is the couple’s first child together since they got married in 2022.
A New Chapter for Blossom Chukwujekwu
The arrival of the baby comes nearly four years after Blossom Chukwujekwu married Winifred Akhuemokhan Ehinome in a traditional wedding ceremony held in Benin City, Edo State.
Before his current marriage, the actor was married to entrepreneur Maureen Esisi. The former couple tied the knot in 2015 before ending their marriage in 2019.
Following their separation, Esisi publicly spoke about the emotional impact of the breakup. In April 2021, she revealed that she had experienced suicidal thoughts after the marriage ended, describing the day she learned of the separation as the “worst day of my life.”
In 2022, she also claimed that she had not received formal divorce papers from the actor.
