Daniel Radcliffe and Rose Byrne are among the leading names nominated at the 2026 Tony Awards, which celebrate excellence in US theatre. The announcement places Daniel Radcliffe in the spotlight once again for his growing stage career, as he earns recognition for his performance in the one-man play Every Brilliant Thing.

The former Harry Potter star continues to build a strong reputation on Broadway, and Daniel Radcliffe’s nomination adds to an already impressive list of theatre achievements.

The awards also recognise Oscar nominee Rose Byrne, alongside veterans such as Lesley Manville, John Lithgow, and Layton Williams. This year’s ceremony will take place in New York on June 7 and will be hosted by singer Pink.

Broadway Stars Lead 2026 Tony Awards Nominations

Two productions dominate this year’s nominations, each securing 12 nods. They are The Lost Boys, a musical adaptation of the 1987 film, and Schmigadoon!, a stage version of the Apple TV series.

Other strong contenders include Ragtime with 11 nominations, Death of a Salesman, Cats: The Jellicle Ball, and The Rocky Horror Show, each with nine nominations. Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York) follows with eight nominations, while Oedipus received seven.

Productions with five nominations include Liberation, Fallen Angels, Chess, The Balusters, and Joe Turner’s Come and Gone. Bug, Giant, and Titaníque each received four nominations.
