Nigerian music superstar Davido has officially revealed the complete tracklist for ORIADÉ, his upcoming sixth studio album scheduled for release on July 31, 2026.
The announcement has heightened anticipation among fans, with the project featuring a carefully selected lineup of African and global collaborators.
The 13-track album marks a significant shift in Davido’s musical journey. Unlike his previous five studio albums, which each featured 17 songs, ORIADÉ arrives with a more compact tracklist, signalling what the award-winning singer has described as a new era in his 15-year career.
The album follows the release of two lead singles, “I Know Who I Be” featuring South African duo JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay, and “Gimme Dat Ting” featuring NO11.
ORIADÉ Marks a New Chapter in Davido’s Career
Davido first announced ORIADÉ on June 29 through a cinematic social media teaser that saw him dressed in regal Yoruba attire while a powerful Yoruba eulogy played in the background, reflecting the spirit behind the album’s title.
Sharing the announcement, Davido wrote, “The kingdom expands. Chosen long before the throne.”
The project represents another milestone for the singer, whose career has produced multiple chart-topping albums and helped shape the global rise of Afrobeats.
Speaking in a recent interview with American media platform Notion, Davido revealed that ORIADÉ contains 13 songs designed to appeal to different categories of listeners.
His first single, “I Know Who I Be,” reflects on his 15-year journey in the music industry. The accompanying music video returns to the childhood home where his career began and features appearances from long-time collaborators and members of his team.
The second single, “Gimme Dat Ting,” blends Afrobeats with Amapiano, celebrating confidence, ambition and success while maintaining the energetic style that has become synonymous with Davido’s music.
Star-Studded Guest Lineup Features African and Global Talent
One of the biggest highlights of ORIADÉ is its diverse list of featured artists. The album brings together established and emerging talents from different parts of the world.
Featured guests include Black Sherif, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Mayorkun, Fola, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay.
The collaborations reflect Davido’s continued commitment to expanding Afrobeats’ international reach while also supporting rising African talents.
