Chocolate City has not publicly responded to the latest allegations
The controversy has once again put Odumodublvck at the centre of industry attention after he took to X (formerly Twitter) to accuse the label of ongoing legal intimidation, insisting the latest move was aimed at derailing his international touring plans.

According to him, the situation is not isolated, as he described it as part of several alleged attempts over the past months to get him arrested. Chocolate City, however, has not issued any official response to the fresh claims at the time of filing this report.
How it all started
The conflict between Odumodublvck and Chocolate City reportedly dates back to late 2025, beginning with rising tensions involving exchanges between the rapper and label-affiliated artist Blaqbonez. What started as online clashes and diss tracks later escalated into more serious allegations involving physical confrontation.
Chocolate City had earlier alleged that Odumodublvck assaulted a staff member during a backstage incident at a Lagos concert in December 2025, a claim the rapper has consistently denied. The label later proceeded with a formal petition, which led to police involvement and an ongoing investigation.
Police petition allegations escalate
In his latest posts, Odumodublvck alleged that a newly issued police petition lacked basic contact details, describing it as irregular and concerning. He further suggested that the move was part of a broader effort to frustrate his career and public image.
He wrote: “Chocolate City have been trying to arrest me for the longest time. They tried before my American tour, now they are trying with the European tour.”
He also questioned the legitimacy of the document, adding: “You send a petition without a phone number on it. Do you want to kidnap me? Do you want to pull me to the side and shoot me?”

The Nigeria Police Force has not issued a public statement regarding the latest allegations.

Legal tensions and ongoing silence
The dispute between both parties has continued to develop alongside earlier court summons and petitions tied to alleged criminal intimidation and assault claims filed by Chocolate City against the rapper in 2025.
While Odumodublvck maintains that he is being unfairly targeted, Chocolate City has remained silent on the most recent accusations, leaving the situation unresolved as both sides continue their legal and public battle.
