Peller and Jarvis Are Engaged – And the Internet Cannot Keep Calm
If you have been following Nigerian social media at all in recent years, then the names Peller and Jarvis need very little introduction. The two content creators have, over the past couple of years, become arguably the most talked about duo on Nigerian TikTok, and as of June 2026, they have given their millions of followers yet another reason to celebrate.
Habeeb Hamzat, widely known online as Peller, officially proposed to fellow content creator Elizabeth Amadou, better known as Jarvis, during a romantic trip to Accra, Ghana. The moment was captured on video, quickly went viral, and has since dominated conversations across every major social media platform in Nigeria.
The setting could not have been more fitting. Peller chose the elegant beachfront surroundings of the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra to get down on one knee and ask Jarvis to spend the rest of her life with him. It was an intimate, carefully arranged moment, and Jarvis said yes.
Videos from the scene showed her visibly overcome with emotion, shedding tears before eventually accepting the ring as cheers erupted from those present. The clip spread rapidly once it hit social media, with fans reacting in their thousands within hours of it going live.
Peller later took to Instagram to share his own account of the evening, writing words that made his intentions unmistakably clear and hinting that wedding plans were already in motion.
What makes this engagement particularly meaningful to fans is the journey that preceded it. Peller and Jarvis did not start out as a romantic pair, they were two independent content creators who connected during a TikTok Live session back in early 2024. What began as a creative collaboration gradually evolved into something far more personal, and fans watched every stage of that transformation unfold in real time.
Their relationship has never been without drama. Over the past two years, the couple has weathered very public disagreements, online speculation about their compatibility, and even periods where their future together seemed uncertain. Through it all, however, they kept finding their way back to each other and their audience kept watching.

By the time Peller made his move in Ghana, it felt, for many fans, like the natural conclusion of a love story they had invested in from the very beginning. The proposal was not just a personal milestone; it was a shared moment for a community of followers who had been rooting for them all along.
Adding an unexpectedly thought-provoking dimension to Peller’s love story is a revelation he made weeks before the engagement, during a candid live stream session with his followers.
Speaking on the subject of relationships and the role social media plays in them, Peller disclosed that veteran broadcaster and former game show host Frank Edoho had once pulled him aside and offered him some pointed advice about his relationship with Jarvis. According to Peller, Frank had strongly cautioned him against putting his romantic life on public display, urging him to cherish his partner quietly, do meaningful things for her without broadcasting them online, and protect the relationship from the pressures that come with internet exposure.

At the time, the advice came from a place of experience and genuine concern. However, Peller noted with some surprise that the same Frank Edoho who counselled him on guarding his love life is now at the centre of a very public and painful marital breakdown. Frank and his estranged wife Sandra have been a dominant topic in Nigerian entertainment circles in recent months, following the collapse of their marriage and a series of controversial statements and counter-allegations that played out very much in the public eye.
Peller did not dismiss the advice Frank gave him, if anything, he seemed to acknowledge its wisdom. What clearly caught him off guard was the contrast between the counsel and the counsellor’s own circumstances. It is the kind of irony that life occasionally delivers, and Peller was candid enough to address it openly.
With the engagement now confirmed and wedding hints already circulating, anticipation is building around what Peller and Jarvis will do next. Will they opt for a traditional introduction ceremony first? Will the wedding be as public and content-driven as their relationship has been? Or perhaps taking a page from the advice Frank Edoho once offered will they choose to keep certain moments just for themselves?
Whatever they decide, one thing is clear: Nigeria is watching, and the internet is ready.
