Nigerian Afrobeats singer Peruzzi has stirred reactions on social media after revealing that he has changed his stance on the number of children he hopes to have in the future.

However, six years later, Peruzzi says he has had a change of heart and now believes a much smaller family is the better option.

“Omo, 2 children dey enough. Things don change,” Peruzzi wrote in pidgin English.
The comment immediately generated widespread reactions, with many social media users linking his new position to Nigeria’s challenging economic climate.
Several commenters joked that the rising cost of living may have influenced the singer’s decision to reduce his family ambitions from 12 children to just two.
Others playfully suggested that his earlier desire for a dozen children may have been inspired by his passion for football, with a full team often requiring 11 players on the pitch.
Although Peruzzi did not provide additional details about the reasons behind his revised family plans, his statement suggests a shift in personal priorities and outlook.
The singer simply noted that “things don change,” leaving room for fans to interpret the message in different ways.
