Post Malone Cancels First Month Of Upcoming Stadium Tour

Post Malone has pushed back the start of his Big Ass Stadium Tour and canceled several opening month shows. He shared the update directly with fans and explained that he needs more time in the studio. He said he wants to finish new music before he returns to the stage.
The singer, whose real name is Austin Post, posted the message on Instagram. He said the original schedule no longer matches his creative direction. He also said he promised fans new music and wants to deliver it properly. As a result, he moved the tour start to a later date.
Tour Delay Linked to Upcoming Album
Post Malone now opens the tour on June 9 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The change removes early shows in cities such as El Paso, Waco, Baton Rouge, Birmingham, Tampa, and Oxford. Many fans who prepared for these concerts will no longer attend the original dates.
He apologized to fans for the cancellation of those shows. He also said he understands the disappointment and thanked them for their support. However, he stressed that finishing his music remains his main focus at this stage.
He continues to work on a double album titled The Eternal Buzz. The project may include up to 40 songs. He has shared teasers in recent weeks and built strong interest around the release. Because of the size of the project, he spends extra time in the studio refining the sound and structure of the album.
Even with the tour delay, Post Malone stays active in live performances. He recently headlined the final night of Stagecoach in California. He will also perform at Gulf Coast Jam in Panama City Beach on May 31. After that, he appears at the Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach on June 7. These shows happen just days before the new tour opening.
His previous Big Ass Stadium Tour with Jelly Roll drew large crowds and strong engagement from fans. That run set high expectations for this year’s edition. However, discussions have also surfaced online about ticket availability for some shows. Some observers suggested that sales may have influenced the change. Still, no official statement supports that claim.
Post Malone continues to focus on delivering new music. He explained that the extra time in the studio will help him complete the project at a high standard. He also assured fans that he looks forward to returning to live performances once he finishes the album.
Fans now wait for both the new release and the updated tour experience. Many expect the upcoming album to define his next musical direction.
